Baroque Murals is a unique project, curated by Rise One in the context of the arts festival Antwerp Baroque 2018. In collaboration with Antwerp City of Arts, four internationally renowned artists – Smug (Glasgow), Astro (Paris), El Mac (Los Angeles) and Rise One – brought a modern interpretation of the Baroque art form to the streets of Antwerp.

Each mural translates the grandeur and dynamism of the Baroque style into contemporary street art, with a unique artistic approach. Three of these impressive works can still be admired in Antwerp.
